KitchenX
One system for an Indian restaurant: billing, tables, QR ordering, invoices on WhatsApp, loyalty and live reports. It runs on any Android tablet and keeps billing when the Wi-Fi drops.

The product.
KitchenX replaces the handful of apps a typical outlet juggles. The counter, the kitchen and the guest share one live system, from a single outlet to fifty under one login, with a central menu and price changes rolled out in one click.
The tablet app is offline-first. During an outage, bills are held on the device and sync on their own when the connection returns, so service never stops. Setup takes an afternoon, starting with an AI import that reads the menu from a photo.

What we built.
The parts of KitchenX that people use every day.
- Billing in seconds
- GST bills with split and merged tables, discounts, part payments and tips, settled by UPI, card or cash from one screen.
- A live floor plan
- Who is seated, who has ordered and who is ready to pay, with takeaway orders on the same screen.
- Invoices on WhatsApp
- The bill opens in WhatsApp on the restaurant’s own phone, addressed to the guest with a payment QR attached. No bot, no Business API.
- QR table ordering
- Every table has its own QR code. Guests browse, order straight into the POS and kitchen, and follow the status on a public link.
- Loyalty and CRM
- Regulars recognised by phone number, with visits, spend and points earned and redeemed at checkout, every change on an append-only ledger.
- Reports and hardware
- Live sales, top items and payment mix on the owner’s phone, GST exports for the accountant, and any ESC/POS thermal printer.
“Restaurants can’t stop billing when the Wi-Fi drops. TechieNext built our POS to work offline and catch up on its own, and explained every trade-off along the way.”
