Honor V10 launched with 18:9 display and dual camera setup

Huawei sub-brand Honor just launched its next smartphone Honor V10. The company’s latest flagship level smartphone comes with top-end HiSilicon 970 SoC processor that also seen in the Huawei mate 10 and it is complete with a neural processing unit (NPU) for AI and Machine Learning related functions. Some others highlight of Honor V10 includes a dual rear camera and a bezel-less 5.99-inch ‘FullView’ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.


In some basic specifications, it features a 5.99-inch FullHD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 403ppi and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC with four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.36GHz, four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz and an i7 co-processor coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and storage option of 64GB and 128GB, it can be expandable using microSD card up to 256GB.



In optics, it is having a dual rear camera setup at back in which one is having 16-megapixels RGB sensor and the other is a 20-megapixels monochrome sensor, complete with a f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, and dual-LED flash. The Honor V10 bears a 13-megapixels with a f/2.0 aperture.


It also has some basic connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, Infrared, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C (2.0), and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The sensor onboard includes the accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. It is a dual Nano SIM smartphone that runs on EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0. It packed in a 3750mAh battery that delivers up to 23 hours of talk-time on 3G and 22 days of standby time with – it is complete with 5V/4.5A fast charging support.

It is currently launched only in China and soon will be launch in India also on 5th December. In China, it is launched at a price of CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 26,400) for 4GB/64GB variant, CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 29,300) for 6GB/64GB variant, and CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 34,200) for 6GB/128GB variant. This smartphone is already up for pre-order on Vmal.com, JD.com, Tmall.com, Suning.com, and Gome.com and will go on sale from December 5.
