Asus, the Taiwan smartphone maker company, launched its Asus Zenfone Zoom S handset in India on Thursday. It has been reported that this is an Indian version of Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom launched in May. Asus ZenFone Zoom S is priced at Rs 26,999 and it will be exclusively available at the e-commerce site Flipkart. The most important features of this handset in Asus are two rear cameras.
First of all, we will tell about the most special feature of Asus Zenfone Zoom S. There is a dual rear camera setup, which comes with a 12-megapixel rear camera (with Sony IMX 362 sensor and aperture F/1.7) and the other 12-megapixel rear camera (2.3x optical zoom). A 25mm wide-angle main lens is also provided in the primary camera setup. On the front side, the smartphone has a 13-megapixel camera that comes with Sony IMX 214 sensor, aperture F/2.0 and a screen flash feature.
The company is calling the phone the most ‘slim and light’ smartphone. 5000 mAh battery is also one of the special features of the phone. Its thickness is only 7.9 millimeters while weight is 170 grams. Like the last Zenfone zoom variant, Zenfone Zoom S can also work like a power bank and can be charged from other smartphones.
Speaking of the specification, Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom has a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) AMOLED display. On top of this is the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. This phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The 4 GB RAM for Multitasking and the inbuilt storage is 64 GB. The phone has features like 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and NFC.
